We can frequently accommodate same-day moves, but it depends on three factors:

Time of day you contact us. A message at 9am has a much higher chance of same-day availability than a message at 4pm for an evening move. The earlier in the day, the more likely we have a slot.

Day of the month. The last and first days of each month are the busiest for moves in the Netherlands because most leases turn over on the 1st. Same-day availability on the 28th, 29th, 30th, 31st, 1st, or 2nd is harder to secure. Mid-month, mid-week, same-day is much more often available.

Season. June through August is peak season. Late August and early September is the busiest moving period of the year due to student arrivals. Same-day in these windows is possible but not guaranteed. October through April typically has more flexibility.

The route and volume. A short local move (studio in Amsterdam, IKEA pickup in Utrecht, sofa pickup in Rotterdam) can often slot into the day's existing schedule. A longer intercity move (Amsterdam → Eindhoven, Den Haag → Zwolle) requires a free 4–5 hour block, which is harder to find on short notice.

Same-city studio move: 1–1.5 hours.

Same-city one-bedroom apartment: 1.5–2 hours.

Same-city two-bedroom move: 2–3 hours. Total: approximately €108–€165.

Same-city furniture pickup or IKEA run: 1–1.5 hours.

Short intercity (e.g. Delft → Den Haag, Dordrecht → Rotterdam): 1.5–2.5 hours.

Medium intercity (e.g. Amsterdam → Utrecht, Rotterdam → Breda): 2–3 hours.

Apartment relocations within the same city. The most common same-day request. Studio or one-bedroom move from one address to another, typically within 2–4 hours of booking. Same-city moves complete in 1.5–2 hours total.

Marktplaats pickups. The seller wants the item gone today. You message us mid-morning, we collect the item by afternoon, deliver to your address before evening.

IKEA collections. You went to IKEA expecting to fit purchases in a car. They do not fit. We collect from the IKEA loading bay within hours.

Furniture deliveries within a city. A sofa, bed, or dining table needs to move between two addresses today.

Lease deadline moves. Your contract ends today, you need belongings out by evening. We work to your specific deadline.

Short intercity emergencies. A move from Den Haag to Rotterdam, or Amsterdam to Almere, on the same day. Achievable when contacted by mid-morning.

If you know there is a chance you might need a same-day move, here is how to increase the likelihood we can accommodate it:

Message early in the day. A request at 8–10am has a far better same-day success rate than one at 3pm.

Be flexible on the time window. "Anytime today" is much easier to fit than "exactly 11am sharp." Tell us your earliest and latest acceptable times.

Have your details ready. Pickup address, destination address, brief volume description, any access details (elevator, parking, key handover). The faster you can answer questions, the faster we confirm.

Be packed and ready before the driver arrives. If you message at 9am for a 1pm move, that is four hours to finish packing. Use them. A driver arriving to find half-packed boxes adds time and cost.

Avoid the absolute peak days if possible. If your move is on the 30th, 31st, or 1st, same-day is possible but tighter. If you have any flexibility, mid-month is much easier.

Pay attention to weekends and holidays. We operate seven days a week, but Saturdays in summer get fully booked early. A Friday or Sunday is often more flexible.

For intercity same-day, the most reliable corridors are within the Randstad (Amsterdam ↔ Utrecht ↔ Den Haag ↔ Rotterdam) and short routes from any city to its nearest neighbours.
