The Story Behind MoverMate
MoverMate started as a student initiative, built from personal experience. While studying my Bachelor’s degree at the University of Twente, I regularly helped friends and fellow students move between rooms, apartments, and student housing. What began as a simple way to help quickly grew into a reliable man with a van service.
After completing my bachelor’s studies, I moved to Rotterdam to continue my education at Erasmus University. Moving cities myself made one thing very clear: many people don’t need a large, expensive moving company — they need a practical, honest, and flexible moving solution that fits student and city life. That insight became the foundation of MoverMate.
