Most of Rotterdam was rebuilt after 1940. That means wide streets, modern blocks, lifts as standard in the taller buildings, and parking that is usually within sight of the entrance. Kralingen, Blijdorp, Hillegersberg, Prins Alexander, Ommoord and most of Zuid unload quickly — often faster than the Almelo end takes to load.

Two exceptions. Delfshaven and the older pockets near the centre have narrower streets and some walk-up buildings.

People following a first or second serious job. Rotterdam's port, logistics, engineering and construction sectors hire heavily, and they are the natural landing point for people who trained in Twente. This is the largest group on the route.

Couples relocating for one partner's work. Typically a full flat, and the group most likely to be at the limit of one van load.

The pickup town barely changes the price on a route this long. Ten or fifteen kilometres either way is a few minutes on a two-hour drive, so a collection from Wierden or Borne prices much the same as one from central Almelo.
